He was coming for her. He tried to claim her in her dreams, to make her his forever. Lorran had been dreaming about dragons for years, but never dreams like this. Most people called her dragon whore because she wanted to study dragons and humans who had been dragon-bitten.
Understanding the effects of the transformation, learning why some were able to delay the transformation might one day lead to reversing the process. Or at the very least, understanding how to live with the beast and remain human. Lorran had been given a short opportunity to study the transformation when her husband was bitten, but was unable to observe when he left their house. Suddenly, the opportunity for observation presents itself when a Castle Guard drops a wounded man on her doorstep.
The man is Kei the Dragon Slayer, King of their Country. Lorran knew from experience after the effects of the dragon bite wore off, the victim would have approximately three weeks before the change. She didn't anticipate Kei's constant need to be near her, to touch her during his fever.
Kei knew the beast was inside him, knew he couldn't control it, knew he had to take steps to save his kingdom; yet none of that mattered. All he could think of was making love to Lorran, claiming her, possessing her and never letting her leave. Even when he tried to think about something else, the smallest thing would bring his thoughts right back to sex. What was he to do?
Days pass and Lorran and Kei have accepted the fact they want, or rather, crave, sex. But as the time for transformation draws closer, the dragon within comes closer and closer to the surface. Is there any way to defeat the dragon? Lorran refuses to give up, especially once she realizes she's fallen in love.
An utterly remarkable tale. Dragon's Kiss by Tielle St. Clare is a scorcher, replete with palpable sexual tension, sensuality and unbelievably steamy sex scenes. It also has wonderful, dimensional characters. Lorran and Kei leap off the pages, printing themselves in the reader's heart. Even Nekane the dragon is deeply loveable character. The reader wants to see everything work out for Lorran, Kei and Nekane, for them to reach a point where happily-ever-after exists. A true keeper for anyone who loves dragons, Dragon's Kiss is not to be missed!

For six long years, Zachary Simons had been locked in a loveless marriage, his delicate wife refusing him sex. An honorable man, he remained faithful to his vows and willingly remained celibate. Finally he requests a divorce and goes to his wife's house with the final papers. Unfortunately for him, the divorce is not meant to be.
He arrives at the house only to find his wife dead. As if that weren't bad enough, he becomes the main suspect. Things begin to look up the instant he lays eyes on the officer in charge of his case, the lovely Jocelyn Bliss. The raw desire he feels for her threatens to consume him.
Jocelyn was unprepared for her physical reaction to Zachary Simons. He was a murder suspect, for goodness' sake. All she wanted to do was stake her claim and have her fill of his body. However, it didn't matter. She couldn't let a personal relationship with Zachary interfere with the investigation, she already done that once before.
When the opportunity presents itself, will they take the chance and satisfy their mutual desire? Or will they allow the investigation to drive them apart?
What a riveting story! I picked up Simons' Bliss merely intending to read a chapter before bed. I ended up reading the entire novel. The sexual tension and desire between Zachary and Jocelyn was incredibly palpable; you couldn't help being caught in it.
Kudos to Ms. St. Clare for creating the perfect blend of suspense and sizzling erotica. She's earned her place on my auto-buy list.
