Rebecca St. James had an excellent idea when she decided to collect these personal accounts! The women within these pages range from the historical to the contemporary. Their stand for the Lord came in various ways and in different parts of the world. Each story is short, but is packed with power. An appropriate Scripture verse follows each one and will give readers pause for reflection. This book would make an excellent devotional! The accounts are divided into twelve-week periods with five stories per week. Each week's reading ends with a series of insightful questions, thereby giving readers a chance to apply the truths of these tales to their own lives and see where the Lord is leading them.
