In the process of being interviewed for a position as CEO, Jamie Snyder meets Clarissa Boiling, and immediately starts imagining her in the most erotic positions. He almost loses track of just what he is there for as they are both spitting out double entendres.

After his physical exam, he comes back to find that she is the only one left in the office. He decides that he would throw caution to the wind and give in to his desires. Clarissa Boiling is just that after hearing Mr. Snyder's voice...BOILING!! She is so overwhelmed and so heated by his voice alone, she fantasies about him on her loveseat getting ready to take her in the most passionate ways. But would he think of that as sexual harassment? She couldn't help but wonder if she was mistaking the signals he was sending her.

Samantha was on the way to the lawyer's office to finally sign her divorce papers. Somehow when she married Cody she thought they would be married forever not for just six months. She had been so in love, but when she tried to surprise him in Houston where he was with the rodeo circuit she was the one that was surprised. She walked into the hotel room and found a half-dressed woman and immediately turned around, left and filed for divorce.

Cody was a rodeo champion when he had married his dream woman, Samantha. After the mistake in Houston, she wouldn't listen to anything he had to say. He had one more try left to get her to listen. If he can only get to talk to her before she signs the papers. He follows her into the elevator, and watches all the other people leave. He knows his chance is coming up. Just then there is a blackout in Manhattan and she can't get away.

The Blackout is a very quick read that will have you rooting for Cody every step of the way. It's a very steamy romance about how a mistake can almost ruin two people's life. I look forward to reading more novels by Ms. Stilletto.
