It was going to be a Christmas vacation to remember. Jakarta's boyfriend Teague had managed to reserve a tower room at Castle Phantasie for the holidays. They were going to have a wonderful time, so why did Jak have a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach?
Somehow she knew Teague was going to propose again. Why couldn't he understand that she loved him, but wasn't ready to make that type of commitment. He knew her past history, knew her ex-husband had been a complete and total sadistic bastard. In her heart, she knew Teague was nothing like him. Knowing and believing are two different things though.
He hated to force her hand, but he had to know if she truly loved him, truly trusted him and this was the only way. All he asked was she trust him and even gave her a safe word to use at any time. It was unspoken, but Teague and Jak both knew if she used the safety word, their relationship would be over.
Can a woman haunted by the past place her trust in someone she has known and loved for three years? Or are some wounds to great to heal?
A Christmas Phantasie was a surprise treat for me. Reading the little blurb, I was afraid it would contain more bondage/domination than I was comfortable with. Boy, was I wrong! Ms. Tunstall filled every moment with emotion, deep and palpable. Jak had been deeply hurt and needed to get past her fears and Teague found the perfect way to help her. It frightened her, but forced her to admit her true feelings. Ms. Tunstall has a wonderful gift and I grateful I was able to experience her gift. I highly recommend A Christmas Phantasie and will be gathering Ms. Tunstall's backlist very soon.

After her father dies and leaves many debts behind, Lady Rebecca Stanhope is on a ship in order to deliver a cargo shipment to the Colonies. Pirates overtake her ship, and in order to spare her life and that of the ship's crew, she strikes a bargain with their captain. This included trading her virtue.
Once Rebecca arrives in the Colonies, her sister Elizabeth takes on the task of marrying Rebecca off. After several social engagements, however, Rebecca feels she'd be happier at sea than being married, as no man meets her expectations, other than the man that stole her virtue.
Lord Alexander Christoph Hanover is hosting a party at his home. He corners the beautiful Lady Stanhope. Imagine her shock when Rebecca finds out Alex is her pirate! Due to her shock and dismay, Rebecca tries to run back home to her sister's. Alex accompanies her in order to try and explain why he, a wealthy merchant, was the pirate captain that plundered her ship.
What follows would not be fair for me to say. However, I will say that A Matter of Honor was a wonderfully fulfilling, emotional read. Rebecca and Alex marry for convenience and honor. But Rebecca has loved him since the day on that ship. Will he ever love her? Will she suffer heartbreak if he cannot? This was a rather quick read for me because I was eagerly awaiting the answers to those questions. Ms. Tunstall has done a wonderful job making this a sexy, emotionally riveting book.
