Richard Wakefield had seen his wife having sex with her massage therapist. When he confronted his wife with his desire for a divorce, she states that she would never give him one. Then she got in her car and drove off. Later he finds out that she had crashed and was in a coma. She lived for eight months before finally dying. By the time it was over, Richard was convinced that sexually he was inadequate with women. His sister-in-law was suing him to get his wife's money. At the same time she was trying to convince everyone that Richard was the reason her sister was dead.

Erica McClure works for Companionship, Inc. as an escort. It had been several years since she had a man of her own. Her life was devoted to her son Charlie. When she finds herself escorting Richard for the evening she intrigued by him. There is definitely a connection to each other.

This is a hot, passionate love story. Velvet Veers created a great character in Richard. A man consumed by guilt over his wife that develops impotency as the results. I also like that Richard was willing to take care of Charlie, wheelchair and all. This is a quick, but enjoyable erotic read.

Victoria Taylor had been living the perfect life. Then her older husband was caught doctoring the company's book and was sent to prison. Now she is divorced with nothing but her designer clothes and some jewelry. The government had confiscated everything every else to pay back the debtors. The jewelry is long gone, hocked to survive. Now she was staying in a homeless shelter. With no job experience except how to look good on a guy's arm.

Looking through the ads for Companionship Inc, they were looking for nice looking escorts for businessmen and women. It sounded like the perfect job for her. After all she had been doing just that for the last ten years. At least it would get her her own place away from the homeless shelter.

Taft Houston was one sexy man. He didn't want a permanent woman, but when he sees Victoria for the first time he knew she was different. Victoria is attracted to Taft from the first look. But nothing was going to stand in her way of getting her own place.

The whole idea of Companionship Inc. is great; there is so much you can do with it. I really enjoyed this quick read. From their first meeting Victoria and Taft have a hard time staying within the no-sex rule. From there the heat just keeps building between the two. Cinder-un-rella is a campy read, but that is what makes it fun. Can't wait to read the next addition in this series.
