It is these questions that will keep every reader riveted when reading Soul of a Hunter by Angela Verdenius.

Sabra's family was killed, and she was taken prisoner and severely abused, when she was just a young girl. Now an adult, she is a bounty hunter with a very specific goal - finding and eliminating every pirate involved in the double tragedy. Sabra is part of a bounty hunting team. These are her family, having got her through some very difficult times and aiding her in her quest. Her latest assignment brings her into contact with sexy Daamen trader, Cam. Something is familiar to Sabra about this trader. Another trader, Darvk, also seems familiar to Sabra. She thinks back nine years ago...

Cam feels likes he's been pole axed. What is it about the female bounty hunter that he just ran into? Is it that Cam has been without a female for so long that she affects him as she does? Or is it something deeper? He feels as if he should know her, and he's about to find out the reason why he feels this way.

The bounty hunters have been attacked, and Sabra's severely injured. She's taken to the trader ship and is now in their care. When she wakes up, she not only discovers that she's separated from her team, but she's with the traders who she recognized from her past. She realizes that they recognize her as well. Darvk is her cousin, and she's about to see the rest of her family for the first time in years. This doesn't make Sabra happy. The inner demons that are driving her forward are getting in the way of any future happiness for her.

Ms. Verdenius has done it again! She's written another captivating story. Sabra makes a wonderful heroine. So driven, so motivated, so strong. She has a soft side, too. Cam is wonderful, as sexy as all of the Daamen traders we've met in some of Ms. Verdenius' previous novels in this Heart and Soul series. While the readers will understand Sabra's drive, they no doubt will root for Sabra to trade vengeance for love, which happens to be Cam's strongest wish.
