Henry and Pell, two adorable hamsters, are enjoying a day on the beach. They find a feather and realize a sea gull must have lost it. In an incredible show of kindness, they embark on a quest to return his feather. Their journey is filled with adventure, imagination and a little fear. After all, sea gulls are much bigger than hamsters. What if the sea gull decides to eat them instead of thanking them? Nonetheless, the brave explorers refuse to give up and learn kindness has its rewards.

Hamsters to the Rescue is adorable. Walsh's story is lyrical and appealing; her illustrations enhancing every word. Henry and Pell captivate with their innocence and good nature. This book has become a family favorite and is requested at every storytime, by all three children.
