Logan Hunter needed to get away, do anything so he wouldn't challenge his alpha and best friend Graham Winters. And he really needed to stop thinking about his alpha's mate. Hoping a change of scenery will change his attitude, Graham sends Logan to Connecticut to evaluate the ability of the White Paw's new alpha. Logan doesn't really want to go, but he agrees that he needs to get away for a while.
Honor Tate didn't really want to be alpha. As the daughter of the former alpha, it was her right. Already she'd fought three challenges and won. Males and their belief a woman couldn't be as strong a pack leader as them. All she really wanted was to have time to enjoy her hobbies and the fact she was female. If there were another in her pack that had the ability to lead White Paw into the future, she would gladly step down but unfortunately there was no one.
Receiving the blessing of Graham Winters, alpha of the Silverback pack, would add credibility and maybe lessen the challenges. But does he grant her request? No, he sends his beta to evaluate her. As if being around the handsome, extremely sexy Logan Hunter wasn't enough she was also in heat. Could her life get any worse?
Logan knew from the moment he met her, Honor was his mate, no doubt about it. But could he, was he able to give up his will and submit to her as the alpha's mate? More importantly, would Honor stop fighting the inevitable and accept the fact they are destined to be together?
It's going to take more than love and passionate sex to solve their problems. Hopefully a solution would present itself before the next full moon, which was only three days away.
Christine Warren takes readers back to her wonderful world populated with vampires, werewolves, werecats, witches and other fantastical/mythical beings. Fixed: Fur Play is a magnificent addition to this already unforgettable series. Logan is strong hero, one any woman would want, and he's definitely an alpha male. It radiates from every pore. Honor is perfect for him. She's not going to let him walk all over her or her pack.
Fur Play resonates with intense, raw sexuality. These characters are bubbling over with it. Ms. Warren's choice of words brings life to this world and all of the wonderful people inhabiting it. The reader has no problem visualizing or even believing these people truly exist. Fur Play will be joining the rest of the Fixed series on my keeper shelf and I highly recommend you don't miss it.

Werecats were loners by nature, but legend has at one time they, like the Lupines, mated for life. According to legend, a feckless Felix (alpha) fell in love with a human woman, but after time left her for a female of his species. Angered, the woman who just happened to be a witch, cursed the Felix and all werecats. Until another Felix fell in love with a human female and stayed with her a year and a day, all werecats would find it harder and harder to reproduce until finally they dwindled to nothing.
With his exotic looks and the power he exuded, Rafael De Santos had no problem finding a woman. Also as a werejaguar Felix and current head of the Council of Others there were not many people stupid enough to follow him. Not to mention the fact that this stalker wasn't very good. And she was witch. The witches had signed the Accord that kept all the various non-human species (Fae, vampires, werecats, werewolves) hidden from the world of humans, but deigned to interact with the other species. So why would a witch be following him? This definitely needed looking into.
Tess Menzies had been ordered by her grandfather to deliver a message to Rafael De Santos. It should have been easy, yet every time she caught a glimpse of him, her pulse would race and she would be swept away by a rush of desire. She'd never been attracted to anyone like this before and didn't know what to make of it. All she had to do was give him a message, but how do you approach someone like Rafael? Fortunately, for Tess, Fate decided to help her along.
Easily sneaking behind his "stalker", Rafael turns the tables on Tess and is stunned by his reaction to her. Not once had he been so attracted to a female nor so unable to get enough of her. Staying with one woman wasn't his nature, so why did the thought of not seeing or bedding her every day bother him? It couldn't be the legend coming true, could it? After all, werecats mating with one woman was just a legend, right?
Consumed by their passion, swept into events they cannot control, Tess and Rafael both realize they are falling in love with each other. But will their love survive the plots of Tess' grandfather? And why are female werecats in Manhattan suddenly becoming pregnant?
Definitely my favorite of the Fixed series so far, Fur for All is simply amazing. I adore werewolves, but give me werecats anytime. Rafael is an unforgettable hero; he exudes charm, power, and sexuality and is a typical alpha male. Tess is his equal in every way, often battling his overprotective nature. Ms. Warren has a beautiful gift of combining romance with extreme eroticism, making her readers squirm and sweat and desperately wish for a fantasy hero/heroine of their own. Fur for All is destined for my keeper shelf where I know it will be given plenty of rereads.
