Duncan Forbes is an art professor who's visiting the small town of Swiftcurrent, Oregon, with hopes finding a missing Van Gogh painting. He's also writing a book, and heads to the town library to begin research on his art book, and to see what he can find out about the missing painting. It is at the library where he meets the delectable Alex Forrest. Alex excites Duncan because she looks more like the town hooker than a librarian.

While filing books, Alex sees a man looking up her skirt; bad first impression, even if she feels a sizzling attraction when she catches him and looks him in the eye. Alex returned to her home town to look after her grandfather after her grandmother died. Her grandfather died two months ago, and now she's transcribing his memoirs. Once she's finished, she plans on moving to a bigger city. She's past thirty now and her biological clock is ticking. There just aren't any men in Swiftcurrent that interest her.

Looking for a missing painting that was stolen during World War II by Alex's grandfather makes for a terrific plot. The attempted recovery of this painting leads to murder, shooting and attempted murder. Though the intrigue is light, it remains a strong back story while Duncan and Alex let their attraction lead them to some hot and heavy moments ... and fun and games.

I was surprised, yet pleased, to read a secondary love story in Drive Me Crazy. Alex's cousin Gillian, who's had a hard life, finds the love and strength she needs with Tom, the local cop. Gillian and Tom's story is a tender display of faith and trust.

Prolific author Nancy Warren's first single title, Drive Me Crazy is a fantastic story filled with wonderful elements, two love stories - one hot and sexy story, another sweet and tender - then there's intrigue and excitement. Duncan was very enjoyable. I loved his past, and his knowledge and love of art. His reasonableness and gentleness were wonderful qualities as well. Alex was great too! Her love of books made an impression on me. I also enjoyed the evidence of Ms. Warren's research with matters like art, rock climbing and addiction.

Fans of Ms. Warren will be delighted with this story, as its excellent pacing and wonderful characters blend together to make this an engaging read, one destined for the keeper shelf.

Nancy Warren pens a delectable novella in Going after Adam. Gretchen Wiest is a P.I. who is following Adam Stone. It starts out being just a typical case of finding evidence of a man having an affair. When Gretchen and Adam meet for the first time, Gretchen finds out things aren't what she thought they were. Adam is a man with a mission, and now he has Gretchen on his case. Read this terrific adventure by Ms. Warren and see where Gretchen and Adam end up.

Bad Boys to Go is another delightfully sexy anthology by Brava. Three terrific authors pen equally terrific and tantalizing novellas that will titillate your senses. Each novella has a great tale that will leave you satisfied. Be sure to visit each author's website to see what they have in store. There will be no shortage of great stories from each and every one of these talented ladies.
