Marisa Langley is on a rooftop doing a weather forecast with cameraman Rob Sheridan, when a vicious wind suddenly slams the roof's door closed - trapping them both on the roof. Marisa is not only stranded - but with a man who she's certain despises her. With a power outage due to the brutal weather, they are well and truly stuck. Fortunate for the smokers' room on the often-used roof, Marisa and Rob at least have shelter - until someone rescues them, or the power is restored. Marisa will finally get the opportunity to find out why Rob hates her - and a whole lot more in this titillating story by Warren.

Sizzling in Sydney
Jennifer Talbot is about to meet Cameron Crane, the man she'll dump her fiancé for. Cam is a young multi-millionaire who owns a surfing company, Crane's Surf and Boogie Boards. Jen's job is to introduce his successful surfing business into the States. Cam's first order of business is not business at all. He plans to seduce her, starting with keeping her at his home instead of a hotel.
Jen's trying to focus on creating a marketing plan. Feeling a tug of attraction she'd rather ignore, Jen can't help but be impressed with Cam's business acumen and resulting success. The plan to bring his successful surfing business into the States is on the agenda, not sleeping with one man while she's engaged to another.
Surfer Boy
Lise Atwater has a job to do. An out-of-work steelworker is about to become the spokesperson for Crane Surf and Boogie Boards. Jen, from Sizzling in Sydney, thinks Steve is perfect for the job. When Lise sees Steve's picture, she is certain Jen's idea is a bad one. The hunk is too perfect. Of course, at this point, Lise has no idea Steve is not a model. But when she meets Steve Jackson...
Steve gets the wrong impression of Lise when she picks him up at the airport. Will the sexy Australian change the workaholic in her just a bit? Steve's job is a bit tough for him, so he swaps his duties for incentives - much to Lise's surprise and pleasure.
Surfer Boy is a humorous novella. Steve is so not a model, an actor, or even a surfer. Of course, Lise doesn't know this at first - Jen left that little detail out. But mixed first impressions go both ways, especially considering their first meeting at the airport. It's too funny for words, so I guess you'll have to read it yourself.
The Great Barrier Reef
Bronwyn Spencer, Cameron Crane's sister, party girl extraordinaire, can't believe she has a suit for a babysitting assignment - Mark Forsythe, an accountant, as well as him being Jen's ex-fiancé. Cam and Jen are out of town for a couple of weeks, so Cam's assigned Bron the duty of showing Mark around and keeping his busy. Despite Jen's abrupt breakup with Mark, she says he's the best at what he does, and he agrees to come to Sydney to sort the Crane's financial data.
Bron and Mark experience a sizzling connection at first glance. However, a shocked and very displeased Mark discovers he and Bron are sharing a corporate guest house during his stay. He's got a plan and she's in the way.
While this is also a humorous story, the sensitivity wins out, especially when Mark realizes something about his choices and the foolish plan that he set in place when arriving in Sydney.
Kudos to Ms. Warren! Three exciting, sensual novellas, all connected, bring together stories that hit all the right buttons: emotional, humorous, sexy and satisfying. Anthologies are one of my favorite types of books, but to have all the stories and characters connected, brings it together in a tightly-woven fashion. The connectivity worked really well, especially when I didn't realize that they would each be connected. This fact only enhanced my reading pleasure. Each story is written well, and it was a pleasure to see each couple find love and happiness. Whether Ms. Warren writes novellas, single titles or category, one fact is for sure: she is certain to entertain her audience.
