Just a few days into the new year and Miranda Smith had already blown most of her resolutions. Well, this was one she wasn't going to blow, she would find a stamp and get her credit card payment in on time. A few minutes later, she found herself in her husband's study looking through his drawers for that dreaded stamp when she found something which would forever alter her future. Pictures of her husband in ladies' lingerie. How could she not have known? When had they drifted so apart that he started to dress in lingerie? What was going to happen to her? Could her life get any worse?

Yes. It most definitely could and did. First, she finds the letter from her family business', Ballantyne Bras, main creditor saying there was a problem with their receivables and they were coming to perform an audit. The letter from Tom on her pillow, saying he was leaving only made things seem much worse. What was she going to do? Not doing anything would mean the people of Truro, her hometown, would be without jobs. But is she able and ready to take on the job of Ballantyne's CEO, find a way to keep the creditors off her back, discover a way to bring more business to Ballantyne, locate her husband and make a new life for herself?

Leave It to Cleavage is a wonderfully, engaging tale of a woman's journey to begin again and is great testament to women's inner strength. Miranda takes the unexpected, turns into something profitable, and finds herself. Throw in her romance with the handsome police chief Blake, her mentor/teacher relationship with his daughter Andie and the amazing, changing relationships with her grandmother and mother.

I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of Leave It to Cleavage. Author Wendy Wax packs a lot of emotion into this story; one moment I was crying and the next laughing. While Miranda is a heroine I completely admire and adore, at times Andie threatened to steal the show. She was an amazing character and Ms. Wax did a spectacular job in dealing with Andie's problems and weaving her into Miranda's life. I highly recommend Leave It to Cleavage; it really is a must read.
