Sarah Weeks captures the essence of young toddler whose favorite game is throwing everything overboard. In addition, her descriptions of the items the young toddler throws: Drippy, slippy-slidey peaches. Peachy peaches, nice and fat allows the adult reader to vividly picture the peaches just before they go overboard. Sam Williams' engaging and endearing illustrations lend to the general enthusiasm of Overboard!.
