Strength is the Tarot card that means that which is at the base of elements cannot be destroyed. However, it can be transformed into another higher form. Just like alchemists tried turning the base metal lead into gold, so to can baser forms be brought higher. Yet in reverse, we have to beware of letting the beast within us overcoming common sense and intelligence.
Venus Rocchio is on a hunt for a man whose code name is Prince. He's on the Interpol most wanted list, but yet he was hands off because of what he did for governments, businesses and more. Yet, the writer in her can't let him go. Dante Geotas is a prince, an alpha werewolf of a major pack. When she enters a private nightclub, due to Dante's influence, she enters the world of the Wolf. Giving into him is much easier than fighting, but something Venus always keeps on guard though Dante overwhelms her in many ways.
He should kill her. He knew she's been following him, trying to find evidence of him as the assassin known as the Prince. Yet, for Dante, there was more to it than that. He was a werewolf and proud of his ability to lead the hunt and kill when necessary. When other werewolves were shutting themselves away from that part of their essence, he reveled in it. Once he takes Venus and has hot, sultry sex with her, something switches focus in him. There is a contract he must fulfil, but by the virtue of having her with him, he must take precautions and more in order to keep her alive and do what needs to be done. Does he want more than sex with her? Does Dante want something he's never allowed himself to feel? What about Venus? Does she relish being under his control? What can she do now that's she's been caught by the Prince? And what of Typhon?
At the risk of sounding like a record-- AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!! What is it with the Tarot books being too short? I want more of this Were setting. You will love this shifter story. It's deep, the worldbuilding quite complex, and will give you a great thrill both sensually and actionwise. Though the resolution was too quick in my book, this is one enjoyable book that will send you scurrying to find other books by Madison Foxe. Definitely take a peek into the subculture of the Wolf by starting with this book. An outstanding read, though I wish the ending was longer. I hope to read more by Madison sometime in the near future.

The Six of Wands means triumph, power and acclaim according to one source.
Tiffany Golden was undead and pestering voters at all hours on how they were going to vote for the upcoming elections. As she recalled how that fatal night occurred, walking to the local Denny's after her volunteer shift for Senator O'Neill, Tiffany faced that she was still unmarried and without a graduate degree. However, that began her new idea-- getting vampires to vote. After all she was now one of them. Though Tiffany faces breaking down stereotypes and more, she begins a campaign to bring the vampires to register and to vote. Gaining Senator O'Neill's help as she shows him the truth about another minority group, vampires, things begin to happen.
Yet not everyone is happy about the undead coming out to vote. So there are preparations made in case Senator O'Neill gets elected. Yet, the undead contingent was picking up steam and more. As Election Day closes, what does the vampire vote do for the Elections?
Jackie Rose writes an engaging story dealing with the issues of voting and minorities. This was a great story and one I'd like to see more of by her. I like this more upbeat, yet dark inspired storyline. The ending was something not totally unexpected, but the twist she gives it, all in the name of politics, Ms. Rose has done a great job with this Tarot story and I'd like to see further stories like this from her. This definitely shows off her style as well as her sense of humour to an engaging light.
