Every year at Christmas time it's the same thing. Destiny Doherty's sister, Fate, calls her wishing her happy holidays. This time, it's different. Destiny received several calls from Fate, with different excuses. Destiny's worried. What is Fate up to now?

When Destiny arrives home, she can tell someone's been in her house. Is it Fate? A bit worried, Destiny investigates a rather large box in the middle of her living room floor. Maybe her sister got her a dog for Christmas? When Destiny opens the box, to her shock - and delight - she finds a man in there, and he's holding a small pear tree. This man could pass as a Chippendale dancer. He steps out of the box, and then sings her a Christmas tune.

No doubt Destiny is overwhelmed. He introduces himself as Brian Walsh, and offers her passion. Yes, passion. Destiny is flustered, excited and feeling a bit naughty. Will the passion Destiny and Brian share turn to love, and be part of a Christmas miracle?

This exciting quickie by newbie author Tawny Taylor is sure to titillate. What a thrill to read such a hot, sexy and emotionally-fulfilling book by a new author. If you are looking to read a hot fantasy story, then Passion and a Pear Tree is just what you need.

It was going to be a Christmas vacation to remember. Jakarta's boyfriend Teague had managed to reserve a tower room at Castle Phantasie for the holidays. They were going to have a wonderful time, so why did Jak have a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach?

Somehow she knew Teague was going to propose again. Why couldn't he understand that she loved him, but wasn't ready to make that type of commitment. He knew her past history, knew her ex-husband had been a complete and total sadistic bastard. In her heart, she knew Teague was nothing like him. Knowing and believing are two different things though.

He hated to force her hand, but he had to know if she truly loved him, truly trusted him and this was the only way. All he asked was she trust him and even gave her a safe word to use at any time. It was unspoken, but Teague and Jak both knew if she used the safety word, their relationship would be over.

Can a woman haunted by the past place her trust in someone she has known and loved for three years? Or are some wounds to great to heal?

A Christmas Phantasie was a surprise treat for me. Reading the little blurb, I was afraid it would contain more bondage/domination than I was comfortable with. Boy, was I wrong! Ms. Tunstall filled every moment with emotion, deep and palpable. Jak had been deeply hurt and needed to get past her fears and Teague found the perfect way to help her. It frightened her, but forced her to admit her true feelings. Ms. Tunstall has a wonderful gift and I grateful I was able to experience her gift. I highly recommend A Christmas Phantasie and will be gathering Ms. Tunstall's backlist very soon.
